In the early morning of August 20th, Chetwynd RCMP were called to a boat launch outside of Chetwynd for the discovery of human remains. After DNA testing, the remains were identified as Andrew SANTOS, who had been reported missing from Mackenzie earlier in the month.
The BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit is investigating SANTOS’ death along with the Chetwynd and Mackenzie RCMP detachments.
The RCMP North District Major Crime Unit is interested in speaking with anyone that has not yet come forward and may have information.
