North America’s Largest Wildlife Overpass Opens in Colorado

The Greenland overpass connects 39,000 acres of habitat on both sides of a 6-lane highway and completes a system of smaller overpasses and underpasses constructed to improve safety for wildlife and highway traffic. It was designed to provide safe passage for elk and pronghorn, but will benefit moose, elk, black bears, and mountain lions as well.
